Those that know Raena know how skinny she is and what a high metabolism she must have (takes after her Dad lol) and they are thinking that may be the reason the drugs start to work but then quickly wear off.
They are going to be giving her pentobarbital in a sedation dose that will hopefully keep her more sedated than she is. Just when you think she is resting and calm, Raena seems to have the will to wake up and respond. The room door is now closed trying to keep the noise levels down.
Her ICP levels is good, under 15 and her drainage color is back to a light pink which is definitely a good sign.

Thank you for all the updates! We are constantly checking them throughout the day. I love reading about the fighter in Raena and look forward to her brain resting and healing so that she can wake up again. We are thinking of you and saying daily prayers.
She’s so strong willed. This is a really good sign that she is aware! I’m praying for you and that Raena gets through this and has all her loved ones around her.

I’m Katie Fitch, my daughter, Mady considers Raena to be one of her best friends. Mady has been asking me all kinds of questions about Raena and how she’s doing, I wasn’t able to answer them until someone told me about your post. Thank you so much for the updates and for giving us glimpses of your days and Raena’s progress. I know there’s no words that can be of comfort to you right now, but, I can say, Mady has had the same dream every night for the past several nights…she says she’s at school and Raena walks in and everybody is cheering and yelling for her, and Mady is so excited she jumps up and down and runs over to Raena and gives her the biggest hug and squeezes her so tight and for so long, Mrs. Crumm has to tell her to let go!
So, I’m looking forward to that day…
